2013 April MUA Highlight- Sarah Baldwin

SB1Sarah Baldwin has been working as a professional makeup artist for two years. She studied at AOFM Make Up Academy in London and I graduated in March 2011. Since then, she has been organizing her own photo-shoots in which she loves to coordinate a team of creative individuals to come up with creative concepts.

Alongside her creative work, she also works as a freelance artist in Bridal and offer Makeup Lessons on a one to one basis. This has allowed her to network and diversify her portfolio.

Sarah’s most recent publication is a double page feature in FACEON Magazine.  She is still so very overwhelmed to be in FACEON; A very proud achievement indeed. In addition to FACEON Sarah was also featured in a 6-8-page editorial in Imagine Fashion Magazine, an online publication in Institute Fashion Magazine, a fashion feature in Spectrum Magazine, which is a supplement for the Sunday Newspapers in Scotland plus a fashion feature in The Skinny Magazine.

Sarah has always had a huge interest in Make Up and studying at AOFM was the best thing I ever did for my career it really is an amazing academy. Having chance to work alongside Caroline Barnes Celebrity Makeup Artist and Cheryl Coles personal Makeup Artist after she graduated was a fantastic experience for her as well working on the ITV game show Red or Black which she had the chance to work with Pixie Lott and her dancers.

Currently, Sarah is working very hard to make sure she is a successful Make Up Artist in the Industry. She will continue organizing her own photo shoots and creating unique pieces of makeup art. She likes her work to be a little different and will certainly think outside the box to ensure this goal is met.  Her three biggest inspirations are Caroline Saulnier, Ayami Nishimura and Alex box. All very talented artists who produced absolutely amazing pieces of work.
